Solomon, is an extra wide walking boot for men from DB Shoes.

The boot is a 6V width fitting, which is very wide and offers extra width and depth inside.

We love how lightweight the boot is, perfect for all-day wear.

The dual Velcro close straps allow the boot to be customised for the perfect fit and can be adjusted throughout the day if your feet are more swollen during certain times of the day.

The straps are extra long to allow the boot to accommodate very swollen feet if needed, and the straps can be cut shorter if the extra length is not required. (Please do not cut unless you are sure you are keeping the boots).

Solomon has a seam-free rounded toe box, a real plus if you have sensitive feet or diabetes.

The boot comes with air-cushioned comfort insoles that provide excellent cushioning and support. These can be removed for additional depth or for your orthotics.

The soles are lightweight and offer good cushioning and an excellent grip.

Solomon offers men with very wide or swollen feet a stylish and supportive walking boot, with stylish detailing and fit options for comfortable all day wear.

6V Variable Width Fitting Shoes - Adjustable Depth For Swollen Feet

A  6V fitting is an extra-wide fitting, and one of our widest. This fitting offers lots of width and extra depth in the toe area.

A 6V fitting means the fit can be adjusted to increase the depth of the shoe, increasing it from a 6E to an 8E fitting.

Additional depth in a shoe is important for conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, gout and swelling as it stops toes rubbing against the top of the shoe which can cause irritation and discomfort.

A variable fit is recommended for those who may need to adjust the fit over the day or are recovering from a procedure where the foot is swollen as the fit can be reduced as the swelling recedes.

These width fittings are not available on the high street, even at well known wide fitting shops.
