What is an 8E Width Fitting?

An 8E fitting is an extremely wide fit, and is the widest width fitting we stock.

It offers lots of width and extra depth in the toe area. An 8E fitting is recommended for those with severe swelling and oedema, or serious foot conditions.

These width fittings are not available on the high street, even at well known wide fitting shops.

Most of our 8E fittings are Velcro close and open right up to allow easy access and fastening.

If you need an adjustable fit to accommodate swelling which changes over the day then we would recommend that you look for a V fitting such as a 6V fitting, which means the width can be easily adjusted from a 6E to an 8E fitting, so you get the perfect fit all day long.
