- What is a 6V Width Fitting?

A beautiful ladies' summer shoe from DB shoes in a Mary Jane style.
DB Shoes is a wider fit specialist, and we love how their styles include clever features to accommodate wider feet without compromising style and design.
Roberta is an extra wide 6V fitting, which can be expanded further for ladies with very swollen feet. The sandal has two comfort insoles that can be removed for additional depth or to allow the use of your orthotics.
The Roberta offer ladies plenty of features to accommodate swollen feet or other foot conditions which require a wider, deeper fit.
The front of the shoe has a cleverly designed stretch panel to accommodate difficult foot shapes and to remove pressure on corns and bunions.
The shoe also opens up for easy access when putting them on.
In addition, the long Velcro strap offers plenty of length and can be cut to fit.
Roberta has a lightweight, shock-absorbent sole and offers plenty of cushioning as you walk. Combined with DB Shoes comfort insoles and padded heel collar, the sandal will make walking a joy, especially if your feet tire during longer walks.
The uppers are made from a combination of high-grade leathers and stretch textiles, and the insole is leather.
The comfort and support features of the Roberta also make the a wonderful sandal for ladies with diabetes who need to be careful with their footwear. The toe is seamfree and the stretch panels will help ensure no tightness or abrasion when walking.

That is why we offer every customer hassle free returns.
You can return any item within 30 days of purchase as long as it is unworn and in its original packaging.
If you need to send an item back to us, please include the returns form sent with your order. If you have misplaced the returns form, don't worry, we can email you another copy.
Once our returns department has received your parcel, we will refund the payment card used for the original purchase.
If you require a different size, we recommend ordering the new size online and returning the incorrect size for a refund.

A 6V fitting is an extra-wide fitting, and one of our widest. This fitting offers lots of width and extra depth in the toe area.
A 6V fitting means the fit can be adjusted to increase the depth of the shoe, increasing it from a 6E to an 8E fitting.
Additional depth in a shoe is important for conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, gout and swelling as it stops toes rubbing against the top of the shoe which can cause irritation and discomfort.
A variable fit is recommended for those who may need to adjust the fit over the day or are recovering from a procedure where the foot is swollen as the fit can be reduced as the swelling recedes.
These width fittings are not available on the high street, even at well known wide fitting shops.
