Bunions  Diabetes  Swollen Feet  Orthotics

The Thetford is a ladies extra wide fitting slipper in a 2V fitting from the high-quality shoemaker, DB Shoes and are an excellent choice for ladies who demand the very best.

Thetford is a house shoe and offers more support than a normal slipper. The sole is solid and hard-wearing, and the uppers have a built-in heel stiffen to give the shoe more structure.

The hard-wearing sole means you can happily wear them outside, so perfect for short walks or for enjoying a coffee on the patio.

The uppers are soft velour and feel wonderfully cosy and warm on the foot.

The Thetford has a seam-free toe area and a round toe design, making this house shoe an excellent choice for those with sensitive feet, or moderate bunions or swelling, where seams can irritate and cause discomfort.

The uppers also stretch so they won't put undue pressure on painful corns and bunions.

We also offer this style in a wider and deeper 6V fitting, so we would recommend this wider fit if you have severe swelling, hammertoes or large bunions to ensure you get comfort and relief.

The insoles can be removed if you need additional room or have your own orthotics.

The Thetford is a fantastic house shoe for those with foot conditions looking for a high-quality house shoe in a very wide fitting, that supports and protects the feet. We also love the bow detailing!

Available in a choice of colours.

Machine washable to 30 degrees Centigrade.

A 2V fitting is a EE width fitting but will adjust to a wider 3E or 4E fitting, depending on the style. A good option if you know you are wide but not sure how wide you need to go.

2V - Variable Width Fitting

This could be due to clever, accommodating uppers which naturally expand around the foot, removable insoles or Velcro straps, where the fit can be loosened if required.

Most high street shoes are a C or D fitting, so an EE fit gives extra room around the toes and ball of the foot.

An EE fitting is wider than our E width fitting. So this fitting is a good option if you find most high street shoes tight and uncomfortable.

A variable fit allows you to adjust the fit to ensure your feet are comfortable and supported.

This width fitting is not often found on the high street.
