DB Aurora - 6V (6E - 8E Fitting)
- What is a 6V Width Fitting?
IDEAL FOR THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
Aurora is a wonderful extra wide fitting walking shoe for ladies with serious foot issues such as swelling, bunions, corns or hammertoes.
Everything in this shoe has been designed to maximise comfort without compromising on styling.
The width fitting is a 6V fitting which is very generous and can accommodate serious foot issues. In addition, the shoe has twin insoles. One can be removed for some extra room inside the shoe or for you to use your own orthotics.
The soft uppers are made from a stretch material to avoid pressure on painful corns and bunions and the shoe can be opened up for easy access, a wonderful feature if you have swollen feet.
The shock-absorbing soles are supportive yet lightweight and flexible.
A delightful shoe from DB Shoes, extremely comfortable with an attractive design and styling.

A 6V fitting is an extra-wide fitting, and one of our widest. This fitting offers lots of width and extra depth in the toe area.
A 6V fitting means the fit can be adjusted to increase the depth of the shoe, increasing it from a 6E to an 8E fitting.
Additional depth in a shoe is important for conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, gout and swelling as it stops toes rubbing against the top of the shoe which can cause irritation and discomfort.
A variable fit is recommended for those who may need to adjust the fit over the day or are recovering from a procedure where the foot is swollen as the fit can be reduced as the swelling recedes.
These width fittings are not available on the high street, even at well known wide fitting shops.
