Men's Wide Shoes for Diabetics

Choosing the correct footwear can be an issue for men with diabetes.

Diabetes can lead to poor circulation in the feet and lower leg as well as reduced sensation in these areas. It is very important that once you are diagnosed with diabetes you ensure your footwear fits properly, as your feet may become more prone to injury, blisters and abrasion. You need to ensure that nothing in the shoe rubs your feet and that the uppers are soft and flexible.

We stock a range of shoes that are suitable for this. We offer wide shoes for diabetics with soft leather uppers, cushioned insoles, seam-free toe boxes and padded collars to reduce friction.

We also stock shoes with wide deep toe boxes so there is plenty of room for your toes so the shoe does not rub or crush the toes which can increase the risk of blisters, corns and calluses.

Many styles have removable insoles so if you are under the care of a podiatrist, you can insert your own special insole or pad to relieve pressure on sensitive or vulnerable parts of your foot.

We have over 40 years experience helping diabetics choose the correct shoes to help with their condition. So please do call if you would like advice or guidance and we would be happy to help.
