IDEAL FOR THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

Bunions  Diabetes  Gout  Hammer Toe  Orthotics  Plantar Fasciitis  Swollen Feet

DB Joseph is a fantastic men's extra wide fitting day slipper, which is also strong enough for limited outdoor use.

Joseph has a strong hard-wearing sole and a hidden back stiffener which provides more support than conventional slippers. Yet it has the soft, ultra-comfortable uppers of a slipper.

The width fitting is extremely generous and will cope easily with extra wide feet or those who suffer from swollen feet or other foot issues such as corns, gout and bunions.

The toe box is seam-free, so no seams to irritate sensitive feet.

The slipper has two-touch fastening straps so the fit can easily be adjusted for a perfect fit.

The fitting is a 6V which means it is a 6E fitting but the cushioned insole can be removed, either to create additional depth (to create an 8E slipper) or to be replaced with your own orthotics.

So if you are looking for a smart slipper you can wear all day and also for shorts trips to the shops or around the garden then these would be the perfect slipper for you!

A  6V fitting is an extra-wide fitting, and one of our widest. This fitting offers lots of width and extra depth in the toe area.

A 6V fitting means the fit can be adjusted to increase the depth of the shoe, increasing it from a 6E to an 8E fitting.

Additional depth in a shoe is important for conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, gout and swelling as it stops toes rubbing against the top of the shoe which can cause irritation and discomfort.

A variable fit is recommended for those who may need to adjust the fit over the day or are recovering from a procedure where the foot is swollen as the fit can be reduced as the swelling recedes.

These width fittings are not available on the high street, even at well known wide fitting shops.
